Questions shop owners ask
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code with their normal camera and the price checker opens in their browser, on iPhone and Android.
Which POS systems do you work with?
The Shelvant agent reads prices from POS systems that use a SQL Server database, or from any POS that can export items to Excel or CSV. Tell us which POS you use and we’ll confirm during the pilot.
What happens when the dollar rate changes?
You change the rate once in your dashboard and every LBP price updates immediately on every phone. Products with a fixed LBP price keep it.
What if the internet in the shop is weak?
The phone keeps a copy of your price list after the first scan, so lookups keep working with weak or no signal, and the POS agent queues changes until the connection returns.
Do you collect data about my customers?
No personal data. We only count anonymous scans so you can see which products are popular and which are missing. The camera image never leaves the phone.
How long does setup take?
Usually a single visit: we create your store, import or connect your prices, and print your posters. You can be live the same day.
